CHECKERED FLAG
End of race. when the required race distance has been completed by the lead car, or at the discretion of the fiagger, the race will be declared official, When the checkered flag is given to the leader, the balance of the field receives the checkered flag on the same lap. Finishing positions will be paid accordingly to the most laps traveled.
PROTESTS
After an order of finish has been posted, a driver has ten minutes to protest the race results. A recheck of scoring will then be made if necessary and those results will be final. Only driver protests will be considered. If a race result is protested, the track promoter, at his discretion, delay purse distribution until the matter Is decided by track officials. All protests involving a particular racecar must be In writing. specifying matter of protest, no later than ten minutes after the completion of event In which the alleged violation occurred. Each protest shall be given to the pit steward, accompanied by $500.00 cash, with a motor teardown $400.00 goes to the protested car if legal, or $400.00 returned to the protester if car protested Is illegal. Whether legal or Illegal, $50.00 goes to the inspector and $50.00 goes to the racetrack. Any car found to be illegal will not receive any money or points for that race and may lose all points driver has accumulated to date. A P&G test will cost $100.00. If you file a protest against another car, your car may be inspected for the same items listed in the protest. If
you are unwilling to have your car Inspected, the protest will not be accepted and any money will go to the track point fund.
